Yesterday was the
Neighborhood Nursery Holiday sale to help raise money for the school. One of the things I love most about a co-operative school is just that. We offer up our blood, sweat, toil and tears working together for the good of our kids and the school. Okay, maybe we don't suffer that much with the blood and all that jazz, but we do work hard. We get to know each other through our work and each parent has different talents and abilities that they throw on the table. In the end each event we host is always special. sigh, sigh, weep weep. Thank you NNS!

I wanted to send a big thank you out to my mom, who lives in Utah, she stepped in at the last minute to help me finish sewing skirts. My goal was to make ten little girl skirts to sell. I figured out quickly that I didn't have the time to reach my goal so I employeed my lovely mother, the excellent seamstress that she is, to help finish the job. We each made 5 skirts. I love and appreciate what you made mom. A little touch of Carolyn Hillam always goes a long way.

Also, Last but not least, a big thank you to my dear friend Susan from
persimmon and pink for sending her beautifully handcrafted blastoid cats and gorillas to sell at the show. We were worried they weren't going to make it through the post but they arrived safely and in all their glory the day before the show! Phew! See her Etsy shop
here. She is one talented mamacita and I wish I could have her closer to me so I could enjoy her company and pick her brain.
